I was looking for a satellite receiver and A1 Digital were able to give me comprehensive advice and assist me with finding the right product for my requirements. Very helpful!
Mr Champion -
We needed a system that would satisfy all of our residents' needs. A1 Digital provided a solution, installed and tested it. The service was prompt and installed with a minimum of disruption. We will use A1 Digital for all of our future television and radio requirements. Well done Keith!

Freesat
Freesat was created by the BBC and ITV to provide free to air digital tv to all residents in the UK via a satellite dish.
Over 150 TV and radio channels are now available via Freesat.
Services available through Freesat now include HD channels and Freesat Plus which enables you to record and watch programmes at the same time.
Also recently introduced is BBC iPlayer which enables you to watch programmes that you may have missed. ITV Player will be coming to Freesat shortly. iPlayer is mostly available only through Freesat Plus set top boxes and needs to be connected to a Broadband internet connection.
Freesat HD
With an HD box or recorder you can watch the HD channels completely free of charge. These include BBC, ITV and Channel 4 channels.
Freesat Plus
Freesat Plus gives you all the great features of Freesat along with pause and rewind live tv, and recording facilities, where you can record one channel and watch another. Your box will give you the option to record in HD if the programme you want to record is being broadcast in HD, will ask you if you want to record a whole series, and offer you alternatives if your recording clashes with another on your planner.
How to get Freesat
A satellite dish installation is all you need to get up and running with Freesat. The installation will comprise a small 43cm satellite dish and one cable run to the room where your Freesat box or tv is situated. A standard installation should cost around £85. If you have a recordable box you will need two cables run to your Freesat recorder.
The great thing about Freesat is that if you already have a Sky satellite dish installed its even simpler to switch to Freesat simply by swapping boxes!
